Project Aims :

According to the comprehensive research conducted by different organisations towards the STEM labor force expectation in 2014, it is predicted that the labor force areas will increase accordingly to the STEM areas within the next 5 years. Recently, we often heard the concepts, Industry 4.0 and digitalization require advanced STEM knowledge. USA is one of the world’s leading high-technology exports (17%) and the proportion of schools that provide STEM education in the USA is 19%. This rate is gradually increasing as the result of the action plan that was put into action in 2009. When we examine Europe, we see that this ratio is 12% in high technology-exporting countries such as Germany and France and it increases day by day. Despite some private schools carry out qualified studies on STEM Education.

“Aviation and STEM Education Network: Ready to Fly!” Project aims to produce an innovative STEM Curriculum and tools that can be used extensively in public high schools in Europe, starting from this analysis. In this context, it develops international cooperation and aims to create concrete effect by combining university and private sector experience with Ministry of National Education, which is a decision maker and implementer. Innovative and high-tech STEM curriculum and tools will be developed with the support of Virtual Reality technology in the aerospace industry, one of the world’s fastest developing and high-tech sectors. These tools will be applied to high school students with practical modeling of the aircraft.

Target Group : The target audience of our project is the students and occupational professionals of electric-electronic technician and engineering.

Project Aims :

One of the main goals of Strategic Partnership in Erasmus+ program which will be implemented by EU Commission is to adopt innovative approaches in reaching the target audience, for example presenting more attractive educational and training programs as more compatible to individual’s need and expectations; using participative approach and methodology on the BIT basis; producing innovative or reformed processes in identifying and confirming improvements. The “Free Easy Global Education Project” – FEGEP project is directly related to exercising educational rights which is a fundamental human right. To this respect, the purpose of our project is to provide educational opportunities to all individuals as equal, accessible, free of charge, time independent, flexible and having a worldwide scope. The project education modules will be produced in areas which include Information/Communication Technology – and this is among the educational fields most required today according to surveys made by academicians, experts, and educators from different countries in the EU, and will be promoted via short films will be produced to appeal to the youth audience. Participants who completed the education module within the reated system will be given a certificate  approved by our project partner European IT Certification Institute and our partner universities and   valid across the EU.

Target Group : The target audience of our project is the students and occupational professionals of electric-electronic technician and engineering.

Project Aims :

European Renewable Energy Council[9] (EREC) has been a factor in the proposal that the EU should meet 20 % of its energy need by renewable energy resources as of 2020. At the end of 2012, 80 % of the total installed photovoltaic power in the world is in the EU. In this respect, Germany is the world leader and Italy and Spain ranks among the top throughout the EU.

The aim of our project is to create a certification system and innovative training program in terms of installation, testing and conceptualizing the project of “Photovotaic Batteries (solar panels) using ICT tools” in collaboration with international universities and private sector institutions experienced in this field in order to be applied in Clean Energy House (www.pau.edu.tr/tee/tr) within PAU.

These program and system will include ECVET recognition of the learning outcomes and the application of a related innovative EQAVET system. Thanks to this program, students and occupational professionals will master on this subject also indivudals will be provided to gain qualification in this area where qualified personnel is so few if any and therefore where they are highly valuable. Also, conceptualization of solar panels, installation and testing will be standardized by creating a certification system in this respect and low efficiency caused by technical failures revealed in problem analysis, dangers of security of life and property, loss of time, and high cost will be prevented. It is among the aims of our project that the program is incorpareted as an elective course into our university and partner universities and along with that it is popularized as completely open source via the interactive internet portal that will be ceated.
