Ekkehard Lippold

After studies at several universities in Germany, France and Switzerland he completed a doctorate in Philosophy at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg in Germany. During the doctoral program he worked as an assistant lecturer at the university.He participated in international exchange projects from his adolescence. After leaving the university he joined the semi-governmental Steinbeis-Foundation of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg where he specialized in european funded cultural and educational programs like Interreg, Erasmus+ and predescessor programs, but also cross-border projects financed by national funds.As the director of the Steinbeis Innovation Centre “European Projects” he coordinated for 20 years EVS projects with more than 300 volunteers. At the same time, as the director of the Steinbeis Transfer Institute for Educational Management at the private Steinbeis University in Berlin he conducted a lot of research studies and seminars on educational topics, in particular in non-formal education.
