Annalisa Ciampi is a full professor of International Law at University of Verona, Law Department, a visiting professor of European Human Rights Law at Monash University. Her main field and researchs are Public International Law, European Union Law, International Human Rights Law, International Economic Law, International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, Law of International Organizations and International Arbitration. She is also United Nations Special Rapportuer on the Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and of Association. A Special Rapporteur is an independent expert appointed by the Human Rights Council to examine and report back on a specific human rights theme or country situation. She has many project experience as supervisor and leader in Horizon2020 and FP7 projects on human rights. She has Professional membership of Academic Council of the United Nations (ACUNS); Italian Association of Law and Literature (AIDEL); American Society of International Law (ASIL); European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration (EFILA); International Law Association (ILA), Italian Branch; Società Italiana di Diritto Internazionale (SIDI).
